The management has been a mess at this place for a long time. Barely any notice to staff for menu changes and when there was notice, we were told to read a piece of paper on a board. Poorly executed all the time. Speaking barely any notice, as of Thursday 12/15 Marcus Charles (MC as he's know around belltown) and his investors decided to lay off their whole staff during a meeting before the restaurant opened Thursday night for dinner. Bell & Whete is turning into a brewery. Almost a week before the holidays and the whole staff was blindsided by this mass layoff. Nobody in upper management thought it was a good idea to prep their staff for this? Maybe give us a chance to line up a different job? Knowing that you're going to turn a resraurant into a brewery takes a lot of time and planning. C'mon, poorly done guys.
