Cons
Your experience will vary depending on what lawyer you work for. A select few lawyers are notoriously difficult to work for but most lawyers are fine. Also the clients are horrible with their deductions. Also a lack of diversity. There is only one ethnic minority partner and very few people of color among the lawyers. Unfortunately, after I gave my notice they disinvited me from the summer social party even though my last day fell on the same day of the event. This happened despite my numerous acts of generosity towards the firm during my tenure including contributing generously to their charitable initiatives and buying coffee and timbits for the entire firm when their coffee machine broke down. This was a black stain and a slap in the face on an otherwise positive experience and robbed me of the opportunity to say goodbye to colleagues. Incredibly myopic lack of good will. Also I never received my promised raise after receiving my promotion. First chance I got I got out of dodge. Shame on you bell temple!!
