Pros

The only pro's to this place have all been fired or have quit this year.

Cons

I've waited until I no longer worked there to leave a review for this company. Great employees were fired monthly from January - March of this year. And two have since quit because of that along with other issues. The employees were absolutely amazing and did not deserve to be fired. When great employees are fired it puts the remaining people on edge and brings the morale completely down. I know for a fact several employees have constantly brought up how they're being treated / abused (verbally, emotionally, bullied, belittled - etc.) to one of the owners and over the years, nothing has changed! Excuses for behavior were/are always made. And if you stood up for yourself, you wouldn't receive a raise when you were supposed to - or you'd be fired. In my hand full of years there, over 20 employees have been in and out of there because no one can stand the way they're being treated. Yes, there is an Us v. Them theme taking place and it's been created by the owners. Here are some examples of the Us v. Them mentality: Upper management can show up late to work anytime, regular employees can be two minutes late and will be charged for 15 minutes of their time. UM can be on their phones all throughout the day, regular employees will get a stern talking to if they're caught on their phone. UM can eat food at their desks, regular employees cannot. UM can start work at a time that works best for them, regular employees are not worked with at all when it comes to that. UM can work remotely whenever they want. Regular employees that's not an option because they can't micromanage you if you're not in the office - though everything about this job can be remote. It's a small office; the same rules should apply to everyone. Men get treated better than the women. You live in fear of asking for a day off or to take vacation that you've EARNED. They constantly turn down your vacation requests or make you feel guilty for even asking. The attitude you receive makes you afraid to ask. They say that no one is allowed to take any time off during Christmas/New Years because it's their most busy time of year. That's the farthest from the truth. Every year you'll be doing absolutely nothing from 12/15-2/1. In fact this year, all employees were told that they cannot take off any vacation June through all of July because one of the owners was getting married. If you're sick for even one day, they require a doctors note because they don't believe you and you'll get a text from them letting you know how disappointed they are that you can't come into work. Also, make sure you're verifying your time off because they always mess that up somehow. You'll get a phone call with a list of tasks to do one minute before your time to leave and then get reprimanded for filling out an overtime form because they kept you overtime. You're not a human, you don't have a life outside of their business. They will milk you for every single drop they can get and then when you have nothing left to give, they'll tell you about how you're a problem and not a team player - especially if you're a salary employee. And to make matters worse, they hired someone with absolutely NO experience in the field - that all of us regular employees had to train, a person who wants to be just like the owners. (Which isn't a good thing) He too is abusive in his own ways and then tries to buy Starbucks the next day to make up for how poorly he's treated people the day prior. Convenient how he pulls this every time the owner is away. He will reprimand an employee in front of everyone rather than speak to them behind closed doors. Or he'll yell at you from his office for the entire office staff to hear and try to put you in your place and show that "he's a manager". Such a power trip from someone who doesn't even know how to decipher an email. And then buy Starbucks the next day - don't forget that. Side note: I can verify that everything said in the March review this year is accurate and was witnessed. Do not work here unless you want your mental health to suffer. If you do choose suffering: please keep track of every single thing that is said/done to you with dates/times that it happened. If you're called into the office, make sure you make notes of what was talked about. Protect yourself! Also, there is no HR like they make it seem when you get hired. The owners are the HR and the owners are the problem, so there's no one to turn to when you have issues with them - and you WILL have issues with them. You can bring your issues up to them, but they don't care - they're not going to change. They see no problems in how they run their business.
