Pros

$24 an hour. not sure what else to put as a pro

Cons

- 3 day training, the majority of which was spent talking about administrative information such as how to ask for time off.. leading me to feel unqualified for the job due to not really understanding autism, my clients and their behaviors, how to respond to them, how to motivate them to learn, and how to even teach them new skills. i would prefer a place that requires the 40 hour training and ensures that you become RBT licensed. - not sure how often behavioral assessments are conducted for my clients, but intervention plans appeared to be lacking or just semi- inaccurate for client - working in this field makes me question the ethical validity of it . i do think ABA can be ethically practiced to an extent, but after a certain point it just feels like we're trying to make them "normal"

Pros

Love working for this company they value their employee and don't focus on things that drive other companies. If you truly value yourself as a human being this should be the place you work for. In my training batch I met so many of the employees who left to go work for another state but then came back to work for them when they came back to California. That tells me its truly home for people who value their work

Cons

Change is constant and you have to be flexible with schedules
