Work Environment: From the day I arrived, the facility had visible maintenance and safety concerns. The building smelled like gas, floors were in poor condition, and the walls were stained. Despite multiple fire department visits, safety issues like the gas odor and bowed ceilings were never resolved. • Management and Culture: Leadership and HR struggled to address recurring issues, particularly around employee treatment. A senior staff member frequently spoke down to employees and trainees, creating a negative and stressful atmosphere. Multiple concerns were raised, but action was only taken after several complaints from employees. • Client Care Practices: The owner exhibited behavior that raised ethical concerns. There were instances of negative remarks about clients, unauthorized photographs being taken, and outdated approaches to client behavior management. Clients with high behavioral needs were often not treated with the patience and respect they deserved, and certain practices went against modern ABA standards. • Employee Recognition: During my time at BXM, I contributed ideas and created materials for clients, but these were posted online without permission or proper credit. This lack of recognition was disappointing. • Staff Turnover: Several clinics have experienced staff walkouts due to poor treatment of both employees and clients, which contributed to a high-stress work environment.

Behavior Matters has provided me with such a supportive team. When I need advice, training, and support it is always available. I'm so thankful for opportunities to learn and grow within the field.

I wish all of the admins were located under the same clinic in the same timezone.

Pros

I genuinely have nothing positive to say about this company, sadly.

Cons

They are extremely retaliatory. They have unethical practices and push children to exhibit behaviors to bill for more hours. They do not care about the employees' wants and needs. They do not do anything to help with burnout there. You are labelled an on-call employee, but they will not say those words. They place sessions on your schedule without telling you and expect you to check it constantly, even when you are not there to take them. Otherwise, it is a callout. They are unsupportive in so many aspects.
