Pros

If you already have had experience as an ABA therapist/interventionist/instructor then you will understand the way the programs are structured and can follow through with the information you are given because it does require experience in this specific field. If you do, then you will definitely succeed in the career opportunities that are offered.

Cons

If you have not had any experience in ABA you will definitely understand the meaning, "you either love it or you hate it". It is not a field for just anyone and it truly depends on the company you choose to work for. I would suggest to do your research and investigate more about what ABA entails and or ask other ABA instructors about what a real session looks like with a client before committing to the training or are given clients in the field.
