Pros

There are so many great things about Beeswax. The people are amazing and the least arrogant people you could work with starting from the CEO all the way to the newest employee. Transparency at a startup can be non-existent at times, but not at Beeswax. All hands serve a purpose and keep every employee in the loop even if it doesn't directly effect them. The cofounders are extremely smart individuals who take the time to get to know each employee and have no problem sitting down and having a chat with you regardless of who you are. The culture is fantastic and the office is huge. Plenty of room to continue growing. They appreciate each employee and it shows in their offers.

Cons

The only con I could think of is food. Lunch isn't per diem and the snacks are ok. But it's not that bad.

Pros

I've had a fair number of jobs and can confidently say the caliber of the team and health of the culture at Beeswax are at least as good as any place I've been. The founders are all very knowledgeable and capable, and yet very open to everyone's input; I've come to realize that they are subtly quite gifted managers and that is Beeswax' secret weapon. Authority is clear, yet the org is flat and we all have a voice, ownership and autonomy. Accountability and responsibility are clear, yet we all have fun. The core values are being helpful to each other, being valuable to the business and delivering for our customers. This is the way it should be, but very rarely is. Grown up. No BS. Seriously.

Cons

- The company has grown fast and so has the scale of the platform. Engineers must navigate the expected tensions of keeping the platform running and scaling vs. evolving the product. - The company is deeply committed to AWS. This is in general provides huge leverage, but I believe we could benefit from sometimes giving more consideration to non-AWS alternatives - Agree with other post that the office can get noisy, but it ebbs and flows
