The industry is notoriously ruthless. You will never work 40 hours a week.
Unprofessional work environment.
There is very little transparency from management at any level.
If you are new to the industry don't count on training - there isn't any that's pertinent to the actual job.
While upper management is very knowledgeable of the industry it's obvious that most have no leadership experience. New processes are clumsily rolled out and blame is redirected when execution fails.
They're right that there are worse places you could work in this industry but that isn't a major accomplishment.
