Pros

Pay is decent, some staff can be friendly as well.

Cons

You will receive no training and be expected to know what to do from the start. Though the pay is decent, they will have you doing tasks way out of your job description with the expectancy to complete it in a timely manner, on top of your regular duties. You will essentially be doing all the other department head's jobs on top of your own. Don't make a mistake either. The department heads will hold a morning meeting, that you're not invited to by the way, and in that meeting they will discuss your shortcomings, however, non-professionally. The coworkers you think you're good with are the same talking behind your back. Also if you're teamwork oriented, this job is not for you. It's every man for themselves and they will throw you under the bus at any inconvenience to them. There is no integrity, no responsibility and definitely zero guidance. You're just instantly expected to know everything on the same level as your peers and they will not help you either. The CNA/Nursing staff is a hard pill to swallow. I witnessed so many of them mistreating residents and treating them like a paycheck. There was also rumors (but with multiple witnesses) about multiple incidents of mistreatment and no action was taken other than a brief talking to. There was no proper protocols in place. Everything was disorganized and poorly ran. There is no respect. If you want to be a redheaded step-child and a scapegoat for $22/hr then I'd recommend this job to you, but if you want to be treated as a person with respect in a working environment that helps you grow and flourish. I highly, highly do not recommend.
