Pros
I met some very nice people. The benefits are great while they last.
Cons
I was laid off after just one month on the job. No warning. No signs. No accountability. I left a stable role, uprooted my life, and put my trust in Beamery. What I got in return was silence, indifference, and the worst financial hardships I have ever experienced. I wouldn’t have wished this experience on my worst enemy. It truly has been the most awful year because of the chaos accepting this job brought to my life. The company showed me and others that they truly have no heart…even though their mission states otherwise.
Leadership is completely unprepared to support its people. The layoffs here are not rare or “strategic.” It’s not like they had one layoff this year…or one layoff last year…they have had NUMEROUS continuous layoffs every single year. It’s astounding that they are even still operating. The layoffs are the result of reckless hiring, poor forecasting, and a HUGE failure to take responsibility for short-sighted decision-making. The people at the top move way too fast, make big promises, and when it all collapses, the workers pay the price. Then they post new jobs just weeks later. It’s beyond insulting and devastating. To anyone interested in joining Beamery, please be careful. If I could go back and make a different choice, I would in a heartbeat. They do not care about how these reckless decisions affect the lives of their employees. And the worst part is that they keep REPEATING these mistakes over and over and over and over again. It wasn’t until I was laid off that I learned the truth of this endless cycle. This is not normal for any establishment.
