Pros

free coffee (if you dont mind a dirty kettle)

Cons

Worst employer i have ever had. They promise the world but it doesnt take long to see that they love to talk the talk but never walk the walk. They claim to be a great place to work and investors in people but if youve actually worked for true investors in people before then you will know that this place just like to say they are, its a tick box excercise. Pay was rubbish, benefits were rubbish. Dont get me wrong, theres some nice individuals working here (like anywhere). But i found that the higher ups / decision makers / owners / HR were no different than any other corporate entity looking to drain their staff of all energy. I noticed a previous review stated “they spit you and chew you out” and i couldnt agree more!. Please avoid this place at all costs if you value your mental health. I raised concerns with HR over the effects the place was having on my mental health and got brushed aside

Pros

The people are great, really friendly and hardworking. The teams collaborate, pulling in the same direction, improving all the time. The place has positive momentum. Being part of a smaller organisation means there's nowhere to hide, but that's not a bad thing - It’s a growing company with big ambitions, so there are plenty of opportunities to really grow in your role. It’s definitely a place where you get out what you put in – effort and initiative go a long way, and you are rewarded for a positive approach to decision-making and project delivery. The products are great, and the potential for the company is huge. It has the chance to become the market leader. I feel both cared about and listened to. I've never worked anywhere that cares this much about you and your life outside of work. A culture of improvement, coupled with autonomy for your area of expertise, means that people have the chance to be decisive, make a real difference, and move things forwards quickly.

Cons

Some busy periods of the calendar can be full-on, as there are peaks when a lot of work is required. Can be too numbers-focused at times. Changing priorities can occasionally put a strain on staff and the ability to deliver objectives. Successes aren't as celebrated as they could be - It would be good to pause briefly every now then, and enjoy more of our wins!

Good people, can have fun at work, offer flexibility when needed, lots of opportunity for people to show their abilities and stand out

Cons

You should only work here if you’re comfortable with having targets and some pressure
