Pros
Nice offices and nice equipment to work with. About half of the IT Staff seem to have a fair amount of knowledge. Nice demographic ratio of employees. Very pleasant city.
Cons
Management in IT is totally clueless. Some of the programmers that really knew their stuff, and cared about what the physicians and nurses needed to do their jobs, and produced some amazing results wind up losing their jobs by getting written up for non-programming things. One written up after working many long hours, then had to leave early one day for emergency and got axed. Major tension throughout the whole IT department. Directors in IT area, totally incompetent, and will throw any of their people under the bus. If you work in IT, and need a job, there are hundreds of better places to land.
