Pros

Coming into Bay Home and Window, I had no experience with window coverings or project coordination. This job taught me a lot and not just about the product they represent. In the beginning it can be a lot, between learning all the new product and new job duties. However, the management team and the more experienced co-workers were always there to help. I was never made to feel insecure about the questions I was asking and I felt comfortable going to them it times of need. As I grew in my position, I grew closer to those I work with. After a while, my coworkers became more like family. We truly cared about one another and they made me feel like welcomed. Bay Home and Window is a family run business and you can tell, The Falcons are caring owners and they take the time to learn your name and ask how you are doing when you cross paths. If you are looking for a company who takes chances on those who come from different fields but want to be in the project manager field, this is a great place to start. I, myself, have found a place that when I get up in the morning, I do not dread coming to work. I like where I work, who I work with and the work I do.

Cons

The job I did required a lot of problem solving and communicating with different departments. If you are someone who does not enjoy problem solving, communication with others or customer service this job may not be for you.
