Pros

Well, if you like cheap jewelry, you can get as much as you want here for 50% off!

Cons

Know that high school movie Mean Girls? This company personifies that movie. About 4/5 of the employees is comprised of a certain white girl demographic. Of this 80% you will notice that there is little regard for professional behavior. These women will sweeten and charm you when you have a service or skill that they need and then they will dispose of you in the coldest and most unprofessional of manners when they don't. People here gossip, bully, and, in my case, harrass if you don't play along with their social climbing ways. Management most certainly endorses this type of behavior and there is NO H.R. rep to help smooth out any friction between employees. You are left to your own devices, with the choice to either stand your ground and endure all types of workplace bullying and sabotage, or play along with these plastic people. Company culture starts from the top and trickles down. These women are not nice people.

Pros

You’re paid weekly and you don’t use phones unless customer needs too.

Cons

I completed a seasonal position at BaubleBar, and my experience was marked by significant challenges that ultimately led to my departure from the company. When I first started in June, I received only three days of training with a supervisor. This brief onboarding period left me feeling unprepared for my role, especially given that it was a busy summer season leading into the holiday peak. Initially, I was informed that my position would last until October, but due to the high demand for the upcoming Christmas season, I was asked to stay on. Despite my commitment to the company, I continued to face challenges related to insufficient training and a lack of communication from management. I proactively sought additional training and support, asking daily for guidance and reaching out via email to management for assistance. Unfortunately, the response I received indicated that the supervisor would only be available for a week, and I was left without the necessary knowledge to perform my duties effectively. The leadership team communicated that micromanagement would be provided only when deemed necessary, but I found that I received little to no support throughout my time there. This lack of guidance created a toxic work environment, where I often felt undervalued and overwhelmed. I was also asked to train new hires despite not having received proper training myself, which added to my frustration and feelings of inadequacy. After being assured that I could potentially continue with the company beyond the seasonal position, I ultimately faced termination due to mistakes that I believe were a direct result of inadequate training. The message I received stated that I would not be eligible for rehire due to these errors, which was disheartening given the circumstances. Overall, my experience at BaubleBar was not what I had hoped for. The lack of training, poor communication, and limited support created an environment that hindered my ability to succeed.
