Very good laboratory science company focused in infectious disease, chemistry, and advanced materials; targeted investment projects in these areas get all the internal investment. Struggles with information/data work due to high rates for type of work.

Leadership expects an exceedingly high level of productivity from technical staff at all levels to cover high overhead expenses. Company is struggling for modern digital capabilities due to large technical debt from lack of discipline within corporate information technology. Senior leadership is a tight knit group running the business that holds itself separate from rank and file staff.
