Pros
Seem to get a lot of different interesting short-term projects to work on at all different federal agencies. Also, there are a lot of brilliant professionals there that you can tap into for advice and help on projects.
Cons
They tend to use temp hiring way too much so that they don't have to provide you benefits or keep you longer than your project. Constantly tell you that you're doing great and will transition you to permanent employee and shift you to other work when the project contract is up, but when your 6-month temp contract expires they tell you that the HR woman isn't in that week to do the paper work, then you never hear from Battelle again. Didn't just happen to me, I've heard stories from others.
