Great company - Electrical Assistant Engineer Bates Electric Employee Review

Pays well, mostly friendly staff, good work/life balance, ability to grow with company.

Vacation policy could use re-worked.

As a job super you have many tools,apps at your disposal to help you with your job.

Employee write ups, the employee gets no say when someone doesn't like something they do. The employee gets to sit at home without pay and no explanation as to why. And you can lie about the write ups and the said employee has no say at all! This is great for demoting employees or firing employees. Normally when you would take this action, it was to improve employee production or for other matters. Now it is just to demote, punish and fire them. So when a manager has an issue with any employee, they get a write up and get their voice completely taken away! This is something new as a year ago I would have said Bates is the best company around but after 10 plus years we are seeing employees pitted against each other, or employees that don't care.
