Pros
Parking permit, bigger room, a decent paycheck for walking around money and an opportunity to grow as a person. By serving the Bates community you will learn a lot about yourself and how you handle different situations. It will also a job: it gives you responsibilities beyond grades and sports.
Cons
If your personality doesn't mesh with it, you won't have a good time. Do it for the right reasons and because you would be an asset - not because you want a good room. Your bosses can quickly see who is half-assing it for the perks and who is doing their job.
