Pros
Disney tickets, made some friends, paid breaks.
Cons
I had high hopes when I joined this company, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. When it came time for me to move up, they completely overlooked me, which I felt was a missed opportunity for the company. Additionally, I found that I was charged money through their insurance, with no clear explanation, which left me feeling misled. For a whole year I was getting charged and when I reached out to everyone I was supposed to for assistance no one had any answers for me or reimbursement. I never signed anything or agreed to money being withdrawn from my bi weekly checks. Raises were promised but never materialized, and despite my contributions, the company didn’t seem to value employees enough to provide growth opportunities or compensation adjustments. Many of the team members had two or three jobs to keep a roof over their heads. Many employees just receiving 25 cent raises for working years there. No incentives for anything. They keep raising the prices but team doesn’t see any benefits of it. No online discounts. Discounts for employees is barely above what the DVC members get. Of my many years of being with the company I felt overworked, overlooked and frankly overwhelmed. I would not recommend this company if you are looking for transparency, fair compensation, or a supportive work environment. It’s family owned and operated but you’d never know that by the way they treat you. I can’t even begin to describe the awful summers where the AC goes out and “ we just hope for the best” till the sun goes down and it finally “cools down” . Lastly I was “given a raise that will reflect on my next check” did not reflect.
