Fast-Paced Remote Job - Investigator Consultant Bashen Employee Review

I enjoyed my time at Bashen. It was a great opportunity for someone who has a law degree and bar license, but wanted a different kind of practice than traditional law. The Attorney Investigator position provides really interesting cases for an attorney to work on and allows the attorney to hone in on fact-finding skills. Bashen also provides training on a specific writing style, which is very helpful and allows you to experience a new and very effective type of writing. The owners of Bashen really do care about their mission and their employees, and try to involve employees in business decisions, which provides additional opportunities for employees to learn and grow. They pride themselves on providing excellent work while also providing a fun and collegial atmosphere. It is very nice to be able to work remotely as well.

The practice is very high volume, so it is a better fit for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment. However, the owners have a very structured training program and working style, and once you pick up how to do the cases, you get faster and better at them so the volume becomes less of an issue.

I learned I can handle just about anything. I made some good foxhole-type friendships.

Do not accept a job here. If you work here, get out as soon as possible. The business owners are incompetent and apathetic. They are hanging to this business and their sanity by a thread. Surely they have filed for bankruptcy multiple times. There is no real training. You will be scrutinized, demeaned, and never trusted. Your legal knowledge and skills will degrade. Pay is substandard.
