Pros

I had the opportunity to meet a plethora of forever friends at BARK. The folks they employ are absolutely incredible.

Cons

I've been holding off on this review to make sure it didn't come from a place of resentment. But now that it has been several weeks I know what I felt/am feeling is still completely valid. BARK is a playground for emotional manipulation. They throw all of these incredible "opportunities" your way - keep in mind the method of payment when it comes to BARK is experience rather than fairly compensating employees for the work that they do. At BARK you receive so many cool incentives booze, catered food, parties, a luxurious work space but what that all boils down to is smoke and mirrors - a ploy to keep underpaid, overworked, and unhappy employees content. Keep in mind that the way an employer treats their people during a pandemic is very showing (COVID-19) they are doing mass layoffs when there is no sign of ample employment in the future.

mission-driven, everyone loves dogs, ability to work on challenging projects. Enjoyed my time there thoroughly

Cons

Benefits were good but compensation was a tad low from when i worked there. Things could have changed in the few years since.
