Pros
There was incredible support given both from co-workers and management when employees experienced tragedy in their personal lives. The Holiday party was nice as well and the owner is looking for ways to recognize various employees who go above and beyond. Loyalty within Barco is highly esteemed.
Cons
There is a lack of organization, accountability and consistency. People are working multiple positions throughout the entire company for very low compensation when you compare the level of work required to the same position in another company. It's common for a position to be eliminated and the job duties to be redistributed and absorbed with no compensation adjustments or even time allowance adjustments. You now just have to figure out how to do more faster. Employees incapable of adapting to new processes, technology, etc ... or employees that are lazy and don't do work correctly in order to have their work passed off to someone more capable, are kept on board with no sort of reprimand. Management often does not follow through with what they have communicated they will.
