- They ease you into having to clean feces and blood off surfaces, being punched, kicked, and bitten by individuals, and calling for support during crisis situations but no one showing up because they're understaffed. And yet they keep bringing more individuals so they make more money. All for $3 above minimum wage. - DSPs don't get breaks. You can try to eat your lunch with the individuals, but there are food stealers in nearly every room and they will take your food. - If you need someone to cover for you because you need to warm up lunches or go to the bathroom, you may need to call 6 or 7 times before someone feels bad enough to help. - Management encourages staff to communicate with each other, but cannot even communicate amongst themselves. Program managers and behavior analysts are rarely on the same page, so DSPs get conflicting messages. - Managers will make mistakes and find ways to blame it on their staff or seniors. Managers will be nice to you and get all the help they can get out of you, but the second you're not available to help, you're the bad guy and they'll be sure to notify your coworkers. - Managers gossip about the behavior analysts. They will also come to you to gossip about other staff, and then go to other staff to gossip about you. They will catch you making a mistake and tell everyone but you. - HR is a nightmare to work with and will guilt-trip you if they suspect you're going to quit. They do not want you to know your rights as an employee and WILL try to keep all the paid time off money you earned. There's a reason why they have an atrocious turnover rate.
