Pros
The tips were decent and helped make up for some of the frustrations.
Cons
False Promises on Hours: Before accepting the job, I specifically asked multiple times about the availability of working hours, and I was promised plenty of shifts. However, my hours were constantly cut to as low as 6 hours a week, and the best I could get was 10 hours if I was lucky. I even had to borrow money to pay my bills.
Unstable Schedule: Shifts were frequently canceled last minute, sometimes as late as the night before, making it impossible to plan or rely on the job for stability.
Incomplete Training: I was expected to complete the Mapal test on things I hadn't been trained on, which forced me to fake my way through it.
No Apologies or Accountability: Despite the false promises and being left in a tough financial situation, I never received an apology or any acknowledgment of the issues.
Widespread Issues: I wasn’t the only one facing these problems. Literally everyone else working there had their hours cut dramatically, even full-time employees, who were only getting around 15 hours a week.
