Pros

The best thing about working there is the people. Everyone is kind, supportive, and more than happy to help. Over my time there, I was able to work under a manager that cared deeply about helping me reach my career goals and did everything within his power to provide opportunities to learn and grow as an engineer. Everyone at Bamboo cares deeply for the company values and actually has conversations about living them. It's a phenomenal place to work. Coming from the highest levels of the organization, they work incredibly hard to do the right thing and are very fair with their employees. In short: - The company values / culture - The people (some of the best i've ever worked with - The benefits (Paid Paid Vacation is a really cool idea) - Opportunities to make close friends - The product is going in a really exciting (and strategic) direction

Cons

One challenge a lot of employees do encounter working there is that advancement opportunities don't come as often as they could (or perhaps should). It can be difficult to be recognized on an organization-level. BHR could also be a little more competitive with base salary. That said, it's important to note that a significant portion of the total compensation comes from the benefits/perks. Don't forget to factor that into your decision when evaluating an offer from BHR! They are far more benefits oriented than most companies (which was a good thing in my opinion)

Pros

If you’re complacent with being told what to do and are OK with the pay, you will be OK working here

Cons

There might not be enough space for what I have to say. Management is full of narcissist. Little to no accountability or responsibility from management. Management job is supposed to be helping the team and supporting them and learning the job which they extremely lack in. If you are OK with having someone tell you how to do your job that doesn’t know how to do your job then, you’re in luck. When the team was failing to hit quota, their solution was to keep it the same while calling the BDR‘s complacent. Management also failed to recognize that reps were obtaining quota only through going to events. A work colleague of mine gave feedback in a meeting and was later criticized for providing feedback. After that meeting, he was told not to speak up in a meeting like that. Yet they say they welcome feedback. Management finds time to do things that don’t benefit the team or add extra task to their plate. The organization also loves pointless meetings that can be summarized in two short sentences. My last piece is that the team has a mutual feeling about management and suckers up to them because they are playing the . Bamboo fails to recognize their weaknesses and if they managed to succeed, I would be impressed with how it’s been ran.
