Pros
Company values are realized. (Not just a facade). People are always trying to walk the walk here. Unlike so many other workplaces, the founders created a place devoid of politics and political behaviors. If anyone happens to be prone to these things when they get in, it won't get them anywhere, and it quickly diffuses. I personally don't know anyone at this company who is only in it for themselves, and people are actually invested in what the product can do to help client companies and workplaces take better care of their employees. Leadership cares about their employees in very real way. "What you see is what you get" actually applies here! They're big on transparency to employees in company meetings.
Cons
Sometimes people are so stinking nice that they need to practice more of the radical cador the leadership has asked for. You're not helping anyone if you're so nice that you don't quickly tell them how they can improve. If you actually care about someone's success (and everyone I know here does), then help them succeed by telling them! Also, it's rough that the genuinity of the culture takes a solid 3 months to sink in. Usually it's a "deer in headlights" or "how do I even operate in place like this?" feeling. ;-)
