Pros

Coworkers were really nice and fun people. They all cared about each other, and were super kind. It was nice to not have to worry about tips, but the wage was a little too low for that consistency to matter at 16.50 an hour. Once met a TV celebrity though, the guy from that show Superstore.

Cons

Terrible customers, was hit on multiple times a day. Managers didn't care at all about their employees. One guy got injured on the job and the managers didn't even call him the next day to find out if he had a concussion or something. The guy had been working there for years. Every time they saw me they'd be like "you look tired today!" That was their greeting. We were severely understaffed. Three to four of us for a seven person job. The managers would watch us struggle and never even offered to help out. I worked seven and a half hour shifts so I wasn't allowed to take a fifteen minute break that those who worked eight hour shifts were allowed to take. They did that on purpose. Our lunch breaks were an unpaid (it's been a few years so I might misremember this specific detail, everything else is accurate) thirty minutes. The discount on food was not enough to be able to eat there. I planned to work for the summer but couldn't stand to work more than a month and a half and had multiple panic attacks while on the clock. A literal nightmare of a workplace. Never been to a place that needs to unionize more.
