Pros

Benefits, quirky culture, Stated values, Up and coming Firm, Deep Research, Not bad compensation, industry experience

Cons

Can be stressful and demoralizing. You don't really get heard or feel respected. Very low numbers of BIPOC. It seems to be a revolving door. They'll reruit "diversity", but not much being done on the accountabilty front to prevent prejudices, micro-aggressions and lack of opportunities. Yes it's a "best place to work". but when you consider about 95% love working there, but about 5% are BIPOC. You kind of figure out who generally is getting the short end of the stick. Before joining, I actually read a Glassdoor review saying if you try to defend yourself against a prejudiced old man, Baird generally won't put up with it, can't handle it, won't have your back and be against you. I joined anyway. I had to see it for myself. Sometimes you really do learn from others mistakes/experiences. I don't regret it though. Learning experience nonetheless and much gained along the way.
