Pros
The recruiters do their jobs but will tell you whatever you need to hear to get you in the door.
Cons
They do not keep their word once you are part of the company. The good old boys club is an understatement. If you challenge norms- they will pretend you do not exist. They have a few folks that keep promoting each other and they all seem to look alike.
