Pros
If you are a server and like an interesting atmosphere, Bahama Breeze is a good restaurant. The Darden Company as a whole offers wonderful benefits even for their servers. 401k options and more. For a server, that's awesome!
Cons
The con of this Caribbean style restaurant is that it has 2 happy hour times every day, other than the weekend, which includes half off all appetizers. This greatly effects individual server sales and tips. Being the type of restaurant it is and the two happy hour times, it attracts very specific types of individuals who do not like to spend money which is why they go for happy hour. With that said, rarely any server makes 20% at the end of shift and most generally make only about 11-12% in tips. Great benefits, poor income opportunity.
