Pros

+ Incredible mission to ensure everyone gets the healthy start they deserve. + Employees are friendly and willing to work together to accomplish tasks. + CEO give monthly company updates to entire organization with lunch provided.

Cons

- Employee morale is extremely low, despite the company receiving FDA clearance on their first product. - Culture of criticism driven from the highest levels of the company and Executive team completely closed off to new ideas from anyone outside their clique. - Severe micro-management is rampant at the top-most levels of the company and the most extreme example is the President, requiring his stamp of approval on all decisions, causing critical delays throughout the company (even though "high velocity" is supposed to be one of Baebies' 4 Core Values). - Job security has become a concern, with a growing number of hard-working employees being swiftly laid off without any warning. Each departure is explained away as an issue with culture fit, so if you want to keep your job, you might want to keep your ideas and opinions to yourself.

Pros

A lot of new projects and improvements are coming down the pipeline, which makes it an exciting time to be here. The coworkers are genuinely great—supportive, collaborative, and fun to work with.

Cons

It is a small company, so you’ll definitely wear many hats, but it’s a great environment if you enjoy learning, taking initiative, and having a real impact.

Pros

When the company has money, there are lots of fun company events, good snacks, free food, etc. The product is exciting and really fun to work on developing. Lots of vacation days. Work life balance is good (for some teams at least, not sure about the whole company.)

Cons

Certain teams in the company are incapable of getting their jobs done well in a timely manner. There’s just one issue after another and it seems like the product is never going to work reliably. It drags the whole company down and leads to layoffs. There have been 3 rounds of layoffs in the last few years. At this point I’m not sure the company is going to make it without getting acquired by someone with more effective management. Raises and bonuses have been close to nonexistent the last few years due to poor finances. They keep giving us stock options instead which makes everyone feel trapped and like we have to stay to wait it out.
