Pros

This agency transformed the industry with #WomenNotObject

Cons

The agency has a lot of women employees, but women cry everyday here because it is a mean, hard, and political work environment. Mean girls get rewarded. I can't count the number of times that I've seen screaming matches, bullying (by even the founders), and egos that drive irrational decision making. I find other women in the restroom crying all the time. The company even has an employee that didn't have proper working papers and lies to the government by compensating her "under the table." The founder smokes in the office, which is illegal, and by doing so sets an example for others to do so that physically harms other staff. It's truly selfish and horrific.

Pros

Starting my career at a small agency like Badger has been amazing. Our work is passion focused and aligns with our agency initiatives and values. From the start, I have felt valued and supported by my team and have been given responsibility and recognition that has pushed me to become better at my craft. I have already gotten great experience as a junior that I will continue to carry with me throughout the rest of my career. Since starting, I have worked on some of our biggest clients, and traveled with the team to shoots and editing sessions—which is something not every junior gets to experience at a bigger agency.

Cons

Long hours are sometimes required, but nothing out of the ordinary that you wouldn’t experience at any other agency.

Pros

- Dog friendly office - Well designed workspace

Cons

Think Devil Wears Prada meets advertising - empowering on the surface, but toxic beneath. Leadership was driven more by ego than strategy, creating an unstable and unsupportive environment. Internal issues ran deep, including an expired tax ID and chronic disorganization.
