      Terrible internal politics since buyout by Shutterstock. New management coming in throwing weight around. I was warned by staffers at Splash News beforehand when Aaron came along and tried to throw his weight around. Staffers being replaced by cheap labor in other countries that make the same pay between 3-4 staffers as just 1 does here in the States.. morals are none existent at Shutterstock and now that’s rubbing off on Backgrid. Shame

      you get your photos published

      Cons

      your name is not always published with the photos, plus, additional photo agenies are added to your byline like "vida press" from estonia, which has no relevancy to nyc paparazzi photos. back door deals behind your back? no transparency whatsoever. brought payment issues up to management and i was told they take it "personally" and told me to go elswhere. no HR support whatsoever.
