Some testing can be fun if you're lucky enough to land on a project in line with your tastes, but much of the work is monotonous and repetitive (just the nature of the job somewhat-not the employer). Still, lots of good folks, both in contract pool (at least 80% of employees, depending on season) and in senior testing/lead and management roles. Great IT department.

After some minimum requirements, not difficult work, which sadly leads to a lot of seat-filling, which is not only bad for the clients and their customers, but also can result in poor job satisfaction. Complaints about labour standards are often met with buck-passing, placating, and then indifference. Poor hygiene standards, only a few bathrooms for hundreds of employees a day, which are also open to other offices in building...often no soap in washrooms, close quarters working environment. Inadequate breaks. No benefits like health or dental of any kind for contract employees. Cutting of hours to avoid OT pay while simultaneously asking employees to work overtime shifts without notice. 40 hour per week Availability without any guaranteed hours.
