Pros

Employees will probably learn a wide range of skills they can apply to positions elsewhere. Programmers are decently compensated. Owner has kept business going in a tough industry for a long time.

Cons

Highly unpleasant work environment. Unrealistic delivery expectations, frequent shouting phone calls and meetings, constant tension whenever company owner is in the office. Paychecks never delivered on time, employees occasionally go months without being paid. Office hours (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) make work/life balance difficult by default, but employees are also expected to work considerable unpaid overtime, including weekends. Employees will go years without performance evaluations and/or raises. Programmers are treated a bit better and decently compensated, but all other employees (artists/producers/QA/etc.) are treated as completely expendable. This leads to high turnover rate in almost all departments. No possibility for advancement in company hierarchy. No levels of management between company owner and employees, no Human Resources personnel. Owner is dedicated to keeping the company running, which he has done admirably for a long time, but also takes any criticism of the way business is run very personally.

Pros

Great collaborative teammates who are willing to help you learn and grow. When times are good it's a great experience overall and everyone has a great time and works well together on their projects.

Cons

When times aren't as good, things tended to quickly spiral. Upper management would either lash out to employees or would be misleading and provide false promises. Morale tanked quickly as everyone seemed to be focused on staying in their lane to not be next on the chopping block.

Pros

Loved the team, and learned a lot.

Cons

It is now 2026 and I got laid off in October of 2024. Still no signs of seeing my last paycheck - I've been asking them and my emails get ignored to this day. DO NOT accept a job offer here. You will not be paid. I had to BEG just to even get paid every month when I did work there. The CEO does the payroll and hardly responds or ignores you when you try to contact him but is definitely won't ignore attempts to join meetings and yell at everyone and destroy employee morale. Lots of empty promises. Offered me full time and left me financially distraught as I left my former job of 4 years for them only to be laid off.
