      Cannot count on raises or bonuses Open work stations can be noisy making it difficult to concentrate on work Slow to hire people as people leave Lay-offs to meet financial goals Outsourced industry critical departments Cost cutting seems to be only priority

      Pros

      The Chamber allows one to meet many new people and engage in many different activities from networking to their tradeshow.

      Cons

      The president is not a good manager. He didn't talk to me for 10 months and then boom! - he just laid me off one day.
