Pros

Lots of access to learning and development opportunities if you know how to sniff them out and find the right advocates. Things are improving but the pace is still very slow

Cons

Generally the culture is still not supportive of the progression of POC, specifically black people. You can get so far and then they move goal post moves. Moving up the salary bands is still incredibly difficult. There's lots of talk about improvements but it's not yet translating into more black people, especially women and other minioritised groups making it to the leadership levels. They tend to get stuck at Bands D and E in the 'Business' division.

Pros

The absolute best part of working here is the people. The company attracts genuinely brilliant, collaborative, and kind individuals, and there is an authentic willingness to help each other succeed across the board. It is a genuinely fun, supportive environment to work in day-to-day. Additionally, the physical workspace is excellent. The office environment is top-tier and genuinely facilitates easy collaboration and team cohesion when you are there. If you value a people-first culture and a positive daily atmosphere, this is a fantastic place to be.

Cons

The primary challenges stem directly from the organization's scale. Due to its size, departments can become siloed, occasionally leading to a lack of visibility or understanding between different business units. This sense of isolation is sometimes mirrored in immediate management, where interaction and structured guidance can feel a bit limited. Compensation also tends to lag slightly below current market averages, meaning you are often trading top-tier salary for the excellent work culture. Additionally, the company is highly prone to organizational bloat and frequent corporate restructures, which can make it difficult to maintain long-term momentum or keep up with changing internal structures. Lastly, there is a strict emphasis on "in-office" attendance that sometimes feels driven more by a desire to utilize the premium real estate than by actual operational necessity—though, as mentioned, the office itself is an excellent space.
