Pros

Reasonable salary and working conditions

Cons

Bullying culture, Ridiculous Performance Management system, complete disregard for its people and their well-being, people are treat as numbers or should I say EINs Most companies look for recognised industry qualifications and accreditations - Not BT and their approach to Project Management. They have decided to ignore these and put all PMs through an assessment centre to obtain a licence to practice. This is just a kangaroo court to remove PMs from the business by the back door. BT won't talk to unions and won't prevent evidence of the business case for this initiative My advice to people thinking of joining BT has to be - Don't bother, not worth the stress, work for a decent company. If BT carry on with their current approach then they will drive the share price down. They are not the caring company that people seem to think they are - it's just hidden from the media

Pros

Benefits are better than most US companies. You get twice or triple the numbers of days off per year.

Cons

Focus is more on originating company location for group events and emails. Due to time zone differences, it can be difficult to work with others without adjusting your schedule. It is difficult to get promoted outside originating country. Roles are few and far between in the US.
