Pros

Great perks (dental, medical, life insurances) and fairly good pension. Now, working from home is flexible. Free BT fiber/broadband and BT Sport.

Cons

Terrible corporate environment, got 2 pay-rises out of 5 times (tho my yearly rating was constantly 'good work'). Bonuses were cut back first by 50% and then 100% (now we get £500 worth of company shares that are locked for at least 3 years and if you quit within that period, you automatically lose it). My salary has only went up by 6% in total between 2017-2022). The company spends more money on sending everyone to Birmingham by train (£120 return per person) for a day consumer brain washing event than on spending it on wages.

Pros

Benefits are better than most US companies. You get twice or triple the numbers of days off per year.

Cons

Focus is more on originating company location for group events and emails. Due to time zone differences, it can be difficult to work with others without adjusting your schedule. It is difficult to get promoted outside originating country. Roles are few and far between in the US.
