Pros

- some lovely supportive people in the business.

Cons

The career progression outlined during the interview process has not materialised in practice. Opportunities to advance into higher roles are extremely limited — only three positions are available each year from a pool of more than 200 employees. The structure referred to as the “Hub” operates largely as a resource pool, where employees are allocated to fill gaps as needed. In reality, this often results in undertaking predominantly non–project management tasks for the majority of the role, they have no desire to progress your career. When concerns about progression or role alignment are raised with management, the response is typically that it is due to “business needs.” As a result, many employees join with the intention of gaining experience and then leaving at the earliest opportunity.

Pros

Benefits are better than most US companies. You get twice or triple the numbers of days off per year.

Cons

Focus is more on originating company location for group events and emails. Due to time zone differences, it can be difficult to work with others without adjusting your schedule. It is difficult to get promoted outside originating country. Roles are few and far between in the US.
