      good working envirnoment, onshore team is very professional that i really liked. free one time meal

      i worked with bny about 5 years and It never occured to me that I liked the management's decisons.. not knowlegable .. Junior staff holds higher degrees than management ppl do..thats unbelivable

      Work life balance is good for the most part.

      Cons

      Everyone in upper management (including our CEO) has come from JP Morgan or Goldman Sachs while employees who have worked at BNY for 20+ years are not being chosen for promotion opportunities. Looking to juniorize the company yet give zero training and support for analysts starting out. The culture has completely changed over the last few years, looks like a different company.
