In my experience, this is not a product-based company, despite being positioned that way during hiring. There is little to no product mindset in the organization. Leadership is largely non-technical. The use of harsh language and public scolding is common and normalized. Professionalism and clarity are lacking at the leadership level. Authority is often exercised through position rather than collaboration, and juniors are frequently spoken to disrespectfully. Management appears to believe that fear, pressure, and constant threats drive productivity. Meetings are often focused on assigning blame and reprimanding individuals rather than problem-solving or achieving meaningful outcomes.
