Cons
The APS management is mentally sick. It does everything to control the power and keep it to the top managers. The poor management causes friction between the staff. Instead of giving credit to the staff for their good work, the top managers use and force another staff against him/her to reverse engineer the original idea. Every staff in this group is a victim. Today staff X will be used to reverse engineer someone else’s (staff Y) work and tomorrow staff Y is forced to reverse engineer staff X work. One mentally sick manager yells and verbally harasses the staff on a daily basis and threaten people of firing them. The best description of this group is living in a communism country like north Korea. Everything belongs to the top managers and staff are defined as tools that are simply expendable and replaceable. If you complain or fight for your rights, the top manager promises you verbally that he will fix the problems but behind the scene he plans something against you to humiliate, isolate, and exclude you more. You are expected to be a robot in this group: do the job and the managers provide you the minimum possible electricity (salary) for you to keep up working. If you are a white Canadian, the situation might be better a bit. If you are an immigrant (specially a female) you will encounter racial and gender discrimination by both managers. The two top managers think that they are the center of the world and no one other than themselves understands management and technical stuff. Avoid this group or your both professional and personal life will be ruined in less than two years.
