Pros
The people are hip and really great, though I guess it would depend on the office you go to. I love that there are monthly happy hours and events that keep things fun, plus the summer and holiday parties are always something to look forward to. Lots of internal career advancement depending on your department.
Cons
Disconnect with the head office in Berlin and the other major offices. Maybe it's a difference in how the music industry evolves regionally or varying business practices, but the head office has prevented several good opportunities and signings from going through at various offices, which of course, damages the company's brand/reputation and profitability. This leads to a decrease in morale and faith in BMG internally and produces a high turnover rate across multiple departments. Also, BMG is known for low-balling their employee salaries and outsourcing some of their employees to avoid the commitment of paying for benefits. There's disorganization at every level in many departments.
