      Pros

      Former executive director was great. The new one (they get a new ed’s frequently) is awful.

      Cons

      Leadership is absolutely awful. The board is too in the details and no focus on strategy and vision.

      Talented Employees, Feels like a Family, CEO does a great job leading the company, Probably one of the most gracious companies I have ever worked for when it comes to Benefits. BMES is a great company and I love being a part of this team

      It is a long drive getting to work

      Pros

      Work with great people who value you as a person and realize that work is not everything. They will not make you rich but set up your retirement nicely as long as you take advantage.

      Cons

      The owner runs the company more like his personal bank account (not in a bad way). He is very frugal and could actually spend a little more.
