Pros

Working with a lot of different clients in different industries; The pay is pretty good for the industry

Cons

A lot of overtime hours with an overwhelming amount of additional responsibilities outside of one's job description, creating massive burnout; Very little company transparency and accountability; Lack of training and new employee on-boarding; Continuous, inconsistent, and baffling process changes, making it hard to keep up and provide high-level service to clients; Major focus on new client acquisitions without thought or care for current clients, resulting in poor customer service, unrealistic client expectations, and an inability to achieve current project goals or hit project budgets; Confusing, atrocious mixed messages from leadership on company processes, policies, and COVID pandemic; Response to COVID pandemic, stay-at-home orders, and working from home was unclear, utterly perplexing at times, and not in keeping with the current city of San Diego's COVID restrictions; No real focus on supporting employees working from home, just a singular focus to get staff into the office as soon as possible even as one staff member tested positive for COVID; No attempt at a work/life balance or culture for employees

Pros

BLVR has been such an amazing company to work for. Community and purpose is huge. Feels like you are doing work for the greater good and there’s no better feeling.

Cons

We are remote so people interaction isn’t as frequent. Office space is soon to come which is fantastic.
