Pros
I made some friends there. But they also left because of the culture and how it affected their wellbeing.
Cons
- The bullying is relentless. People are constantly spoken down to or screamed at. I've seen colleagues leaving the factory/office in tears. Management would rather people quit than address the issues. Out of sight, out of mind - while they continue to behave in the same manner. A toxic and harmful environment that stems from the very top.
- All complaints or suggestions for improvement are ignored and the people raising them are shunned and forced to leave or fired. Senior management boasts about how "there is no need for people to stay with the company if they're unhappy, in which case they will *make* people leave."
- A lack of trust is predominant in the company. They don't trust their employees and it shows.
- Procedures not followed and many things swept under the rug.
- The language used by some managers leaves a lot to be desired: toxic, ableist, derogatory.
- No matter how much you work or care, you'll never be appreciated. Let alone rewarded - that is a joke.
- No career progression. I know of colleagues who were promised training or another role and they grew tired of waiting for years and years and finally left.
