Pros

I want to address the poor review comments since I was very nervous about them when I first started. As far as “poor communication” goes, sometimes a PM assigns you a task without giving you background. This requires you to follow up and ask for more information. So, if you are the kind of person who prefers micromanaging and hand holding, this maybe isn’t the company for you, but if you are self motivated and independent, then you will thrive here. As far as “you are expected to do everything”, its true that roles are very interdisciplinary, but I have never felt overworked. This also can be a pro since it allows you to diversify your skill set rapidly. So, if you are looking for a job where you only have to do the bare minimum, this isn’t the company for you. If you are looking for a company with good growth opportunities that allows you to progress your career, you will do great here. Also, BIOFerm has great benefits. They clearly care about keeping people happy. The company plans potluck lunches for holidays, fun outings every month (kickball team, golfing, happy hour drinks, etc.), and gives very generous gifts during holidays (Swiss hear backpack, custom winter coat, gift cards, etc.). As an engineer, it also offers incredibly stimulating, interesting, motivating work that is incredibly unique to the industry.

Cons

They are still growing. At this point they are a big small company, and are still in need of more people.
