Cons
Horrible executive team that doesn't care about staff and actively makes harmful and dangerous decisions regarding the animals. This is an environment filled with dishonesty and lack of respect for staff and animals. All that matters to them is $$$. It should not come as a surprise that they have had an insane amount of turnover in a short amount of time. You cannot build a career or grow here - the pay is abysmally low, even in the nonprofit world and even in the equine world, they do not promote from within, and you will just feel distraught and helpless when you watch them put the animals in harm's way and there's nothing you can do about it...and if you do try to help, they will scapegoat and blame their problems on anyone other than themselves. AVOID THIS PLACE.
