Pros

-work how much you want, whenever you want (supposedly) -work with materials offered by them, no need to provide your own in most cases -most of the students are pleasant to work with. I am rooting to see some of them and secretly hope they will book be again and again. Also, they will usually give you positive ratings, helping you with the rating.

Cons

-Do you know the motto "the client is always right"? Replace this with the student and you have the base idea of this company. I only worked part time so I didn't have such issues, but some people complain about this and I understand why -There are some very difficult students. Very difficult. Some of them are simply alone and in need of company, some of them are forced by their companies to learn English so they are very grumpy and I quite believe there are some who have mental issues. Keep in mind that this is THE cheapest company in Japan so it is only natural some cases arise. I believe the quota is in favour of the nicer students, though. -The pay. If this were a full job, it would be difficult to earn enough. Students pay little, you receive very little money and this would not be a problem if it was not for... -The rating system. Really, this is the worst. It makes you feel like you are not a person but a service or a product. It is humiliating indeed. And sometimes you know you do your best in class but they give you a low rating just because, I think. - Low rating- low booking. Furthermore, the peak classes are 8 to 12 o'clock in the evening, JPT, outside these hours you usually won't get booked. The exception is the weekend, when any hour will do.
